When you submit an enquiry via our website we collect:

Automatically collected data

When you browse our website, we automatically collect certain technical and usage data via Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM), including:

• Pages visited, time spent on each page and navigation path

• General geographic region (country/city level — IP addresses are anonymised)

3. Why we collect it and the legal basis

We process your personal information for the following purposes:

• To respond to your enquiry and assess whether an engagement is suitable — legal basis: your consent (by submitting the form) and our legitimate interest in evaluating potential client relationships.
• To improve our website and understand how visitors use it — legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating an effective online presence.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, profiling or any purpose other than those stated above without your explicit consent.

4. How long we keep it

• Contact form enquiries: retained for up to three years from the date of last contact, or until you request deletion — whichever is sooner.
• Website analytics: governed by Google Analytics retention settings (default 26 months). We do not export or separately archive individual analytics records.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:

• Google LLC (via Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager) — for website analytics and tracking. Google processes data under a Data Processing Agreement. You can opt out at any time using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Professional advisers (lawyers, accountants) where strictly necessary and under binding confidentiality obligations.
• Law enforcement or regulators where we are legally required to disclose information.

6. Cross-border transfers

Our analytics provider (Google) may process data outside South Africa, including in the United States. These transfers are governed by Google's Data Processing Terms, which include appropriate safeguards recognised under POPIA.
